The Ohio Association for Healthcare Philanthropy (OAHP) is firmly committed to providing meaningful opportunities to expand your knowledge, enhance your skills, and help establish professional relationships that will support you throughout your development career.

We are living and working in challenging times where words like downsizing, right sizing, and reengineering are having a major impact on all our budgets. Funds for professional development are usually the first to be sacrificed. We believe that education and networking are crucial for anyone responsible for fundraising in the healthcare industry. Our scholarships make that possible.

The OAHP Board encourages all members to consider applying for a scholarship, one of the many advantages of membership.

 

Important Dates to Remember:

- Deadline to apply is 5:00 pm on Wednesday, November 1, 2023.

- Awardees will be notified on Monday, November 6, 2023.

- Funds awarded will be used for the November 16, 2023 conference only.

The following scholarships are available. You must be a member of OAHP to be eligible:

• OAHP Scholarship (OAHP conference registration - $275 maximum value)

• Paul Ireland Scholarship (professional development tuition + travel expenses up to $250 total)

• W. Bruce Evans Memorial Scholarship (professional development tuition + travel expenses up to $250 total)

• Eleanor Jones Internship (OAHP conference registration for novice fundraiser (less than 2 years of experience) - $175 value)

Kelly Snyder Memorial Scholarship (sponsored by Eleven Fifty Seven)

In honor of long-time member Kelly Snyder, OAHP will provide a scholarship to cover the tuition of OAHP's Spring Conference in 2021.
